FIRST FLIGHT is a development series for new plays. The creative energy born at FIRST FLIGHT serves as a source of inspiration for playwrights, provides opportunities for directors and actors to work on exciting new plays from their inception, and increases the appeal of new plays for the audience. A farcical tragedy about family, fame, and the impossibility of going home again.

DREAM OF A DEER AT DUSK

A lyrical drama focusing on an idealistic 15-year-old girl trying to rescue a 27-year-old autistic man from the persecution of their small town.

THE GNOME

An Upstate New York man uncovers a magical lawn gnome after an early spring thaw. It grants him his wishes, but each come at a cost. A tale of greed, lust, betrayal, snow and Wal-Mart.
